What's the problem?
Technical hiring is a minefield of inefficient communication, labor intensive reviews, over-complicated processes and poor-fit candidates. Despite that, we persevere because we know just how important it is to build up the right team.
So many otherwise excellent recruitment challenges are marred by mis-sent emails and lost responses. Those that aren't often come with a high cost of co-ordinating communication about candidates and reviews, manual emailing around of code or coordinating access to private repositories which often come with per-user pricing. Our normal code management tools are a poor fit for recruitment.
What do we do?
Candidate Code isn't the be-all and end-all solution to all of your hiring problems, but we really hope it's a significant help to you and your team. If you think a technical recruitment test is a good fit for your hiring process (and so many good companies do), we want to take all the pain out of managing that for you.
At Candidate Code, we take all the friction and the pain out of the process for you. All you need to do is host a challenge with us; then sending it becomes a matter of entering a candidate's name and email and clicking a button. They get their own git repo to work from; you and your team get notified when they start and finish challenges, making time-limited tests easy to administer and manage. You also get all the tools you'd expect from a code review process, including a diff of the candidate's changes and the ability for your whole hiring team to leave comments and add their reviews.
